New Director – Xie Hui | Posted on
Xie joins QACE with a broad base of regulatory and operational experience. With the China Maritime Safety Agency as Director for International Affairs he is also Chairman of the IMO DSC sub-committee. Xie has served within the Agency as Deputy Director Ship Safety and Pollution, London based as Permanent Representative to the IMO and as a flag and port State Section Chief.

QACE holds a Reception before its 2013 Annual General Meeting for its Members, organisations and the individuals who have been influential in its establishment. QACE Chairman, Klaus Grensemann, made a special presentation to Hans Frivold (the previous Executive Secretary) for his tireless and outstanding work and to mark his retirement. QACE President, Robert Giuffra, also made a presentation to the founding Director Victor Santos-Pedro with thanks from the Members for his own outstanding commitment to QACE and work on behalf of QACE.

London, November 24, 2010 — The classification societies recognised by the European Union and authorised to work on behalf of the European Union Member States’ maritime administrations, founded a community-interest company responsible for the quality assessment and continued certification of the EU recognised organisations (RO).
